JTAUK and their partners are Re-WIRING the vision of Jazz Dance Theatre in the UK. This inaugural mini Jazz Arts Convention aims to support and champion the great art form of Jazz Dance theatre making and all who practice and participate within it.
Jazz Arts - ReWIRED is providing a legitimate platform that highlights Jazz Dance as a theatrical expression and experience. Increasing the exposure and visibility of talent from, UK based independent jazz dance companies, jazz practitioners and the next generation of emerging jazz choreographers.
Jazz Arts - ReWIRED is on a mission to increase greater awareness, access and participation to practitioners, teachers, dancers and jazz enthusiasts, offered through a variety of events, that everyone in our wider dance community can engage in.
Over two dates, explore and be exposed to all things Jazz dance arts, through a program of practical jazz dance masterclasses, seminars and discussion forums. The 2-day event culminates in an evening of innovative and original Jazz Dance Theatre and Music performances at the Howard Theatre at The Place, London on Saturday 3rd June.
